Model Number

Model number is often found on a label on the back of the guitar or sometimes in the battery slot.

OEM

Original Equipment Manufacturer. That is, the parts put in the guitar in the factory when it was made.

Strum Switch

There are two switches that sit on either side of the strum bar (one “strum up” and one “strum down”. There are two main types of switches – the ALPS 2-pin offset (super hard to find) and a microswitch style (see Guitar Hero Strum Bar Replacement Switch)
