Hi, can I use to start/test my new EZ 3 axis router an old PC power supply of 650w that gives 12v /18A?

Sure. 12VDC is the lowest supported input voltage, but it will work.
You will likely not get maximum torque from your steppers, but they will go round-and-round.
Your first test (before inserting the ICs/driver chips) should NOT be with an 18A supply, but rather a low current supply, like a wall wart.

Thanks Brian, I’ve passed the driver test with a wall wart.

not sure if this is the way to find products to build a power supply for my 3 axis pro board but does Hobby cnc have a kit for an unregulated power supply say 36 volts 15 amps or maybe a link to a supplier that has the products for said power supply. I have looked online (obviously in the wrong place) and couldn’t locate anything. I could really use some assistance.
Thanks for any help from any one.
