I’m converting an old spectralight cnc mill for a local hackerspace. I have a donated HobbyCNC pro v1 board. The mill has 4-wire steppers. Is there any way to drive these? I know they’re not ideal but I’m trying to make do with what I’ve got.

    Thanks.

Sorry. No way to get there from here. For 4-wire you must have a bipolar driver. HobbyCNC is a unipolar driver. You need different motors or a different driver board.
