I noticed that a few of the axis drive nuts do not thread smoothly onto the long threaded rod. I have tried different rods, so the problem appears to be the nut itself. One works great, but the other two keep getting stuck as I thread them onto the rod. If some of these axis drive nuts have much more resistance than the others, will this affect the CNC’s performance?

They should run smooth. I test them all. After welding, I chase every one with a 1/4-20 tap to ensure no welding spatter or other deformation from heat will affect the nut.
I’ve put two replacements in the US Post for you.
