So I accidentally shorted some of the motor wiring while trying to test the unit and created smoke on two of the driver chips. Am I safe to buy the driver chips and replace them or should I just purchase a new board? Actually, I have the 4 axis board, so I could use the chip off the 4th axis, since I don’t use it. Just wondering what else may have been damaged. I have a degree in electronics and I suspect nothing else is defective, but I’m not entirely sure of the components involved.
Thanks,
Gary
